the Unbearable lightness of Givenchy

Ricardo Tisci’s Fall 2011 Couture collection for Givenchy was godly.

The use of extraordinary technique was the principal focus of this sublime collection. To emphasize the pure and fragile characteristic of romanticism, Tissci employed soft palettes of cream, ivory, and beige to create an effect that was both rigorous and light.

Every angle of the dress is as breathtaking as the next. The sheer tulle skirt at the bottom of the dress was the quintessence of pipe dream fantasy, the sexiest elegance I have ever seen.

Combing obsession with emotion, Tisci has transcended beyond the limits of couture and awaken the deepest desire in our hearts.
